May the heart of the cards guide you out there fellow nerd.IOS 17 makes iPhone even more personal and intuitive with major updates to communication apps StandBy, a new way to experience iPhone when it is charging easier sharing with AirDrop and more intelligent input that improves the speed and accuracy of typing. Stay humble, be open to change, take as much time as you need reading new cards, do some research into what kinds of decks might appeal to you (YouTube is great for this, but you can also look at the decklists of your opponents after each match ends in MD), and treat each early loss as an expected learning opportunity and each victory as a big moment. Just keep what I’ve said in mind when you start. There’s really nothing else like it in the TCG space and it’s definitely worth trying out. Like I said, I love Yugioh and Master Duel. Depending on what you’re looking for and what your tolerance is for change, this may happen to you. Not a day goes by without an old school fan complaining about running into similar decks or getting frustrated at the pace of the game. You won’t be able to use most of your old school cards without getting steamrolled, you will have to learn new summoning mechanics, and you’re probably gonna lose a lot when you’re just starting out. However, it’s important that you use this information to temper your expectations. I personally love the Yugioh we have today (mostly) and it’s a good thing that Master Duel is so approachable. Due to the fact that every card of the same rarity can be crafted for the same number of materials, price is no longer an object for most decks, meaning that anyone can play the most optimized version of a deck possible. Furthermore, due to the freedom of information on the internet, the vast majority of players you’ll find online will be using well-made decks that fully embrace these changes. The game is now designed to be overwhelmingly faster and synergy-oriented. Yugioh has changed a lot since we played as kids, especially if your experience was a casual one and you never got a taste for what the actual early competitive meta was like. At least here I won't get beat up for playing Yu-Gi-Oh.
